Yer Happiness, Our Quest
Here at Tactical Cowboy Outdoors, we aim for your full contentment with your gear. Our Return and Refund Rules are laid out clear as desert sky to keep things straight. Before you send back any goods, make sure to eye these guidelines carefully.
Goods Unopened (Up to 10%):
Got a piece still in its original wrap, untouched like a prairie at dawn? You’ve got 30 days from the day you bought it to send it back our way. We’ll sling back the full amount you paid, minus the delivery charge and up to a 10% restocking fee. The deducted shipping cost for returned items will be the greater of either the amount paid as indicated on the original invoice or the actual shipping cost incurred by us. You will be responsible for the shipping to get the item back to us.
Goods Opened (Bit of a Fee for Handling – 10-?%):
If you’ve cracked open the seal but the goods are still as good as new, you’re in time to return them within 30 days from when you bought ’em. Just remember, there will be a bit taken off for restocking to cover our costs for checking, stocking back, not being able to sell as new, and wrapping it up again. Just like #1 above, the shipping cost incurred to get the item to you will be deducted.
Firesticks* (No Sending Back After FFL Handover):
Now, when it comes to firearms, once they’ve been passed over from your chosen Federal Firearms License (FFL) holder, they’re yours to keep. Due to legal matters and safety, we can’t take ’em back. Best make sure to inspect your firearm at the handover to ensure it’s up to your standards.
Ammo and Explosives (No Returns):
For reasons of safety and the law, we can’t take back any ammunition, primers, or powder. Double-check your order before you seal the deal to make sure it’s what you want.
Defective Items (Handled by Manufacturer):
In the rare case that your item turns out to be defective, the good news is most of the gear we carry is backed by a manufacturer’s warranty. However, defects must be handled directly by the manufacturer for repair or replacement. If you suspect a defect, we’ll gladly assist in helping you get in touch with the right folks, but the actual warranty process is done through the manufacturer. Be sure to check their specific terms and conditions.
Starting a Return:
Reach out to our customer support team to get the ball rolling on a return. Let us know your order number, what item you’re sending back, and why it’s not fitting your needs.
The Return Trail:
Once we give the nod, you’ll get the lowdown on where to send your item. Pack it up tight to avoid any damage on the journey back. Tuck in a copy of your order slip or the packing note in the box. Send the item back with a tracking option so you can keep an eye on it. Once we get it back and look it over, we’ll sort out your refund or any restocking fee needed.
*Extra Details and Fine Print:
We can’t refund the shipping costs unless we muddled something up. Returns need to be kicked off in the time mentioned and items must be in their original state, with all pieces and instructions included. For issues related to firearms, have a word with the FFL that transferred it to you. Firearms returned due to failed background checks or legality issues will face a 15% restocking fee on top of losing out on the shipping costs.
We’re here to stand by our gear and help you get exactly what you need. If you’ve got questions about our Return and Refund Policy, or need a hand with a return, don’t shy away from contacting our customer support team. Your satisfaction is what we’re shooting for.
