Marlin 1894 Trapper Rifle — Lever-action big-bore capable of firing .44 Remington Magnum and .44 Special. This compact Trapper model provides a short, quick-handling lever-action platform with a threaded stainless barrel.

The 1894 Trapper is built to deliver reliable feeding and controllable handling for sporting and range use. It accepts .44 Remington Magnum or .44 Special cartridges and uses a tubular magazine to hold multiple rounds. The Trapper is well suited for short-range hunting, brush-country carry, and general-purpose range work where a compact, quick-handling lever rifle is preferred.

• Barrel: 16.1″ cold hammer-forged stainless steel barrel with 1:20″ RH twist and 6 grooves.

• Magazine: Tubular magazine with receiver loading gate; 8-round nominal capacity for .44 Rem Mag.

Specifications & construction

The receiver, lever and trigger guard plate are CNC-machined from 416 stainless steel forgings. The barrel material is stainless steel, cold hammer-forged for consistent rifling. Finish is satin stainless. The rifle includes a soft rubber buttpad to help absorb recoil, sling swivel studs, and an offset hammer spur. Compatibility & intended use

The 1894 Trapper is a lever-action sporting rifle designed for use with tubular-magazine-fed .44 Rem Mag and .44 Special ammunition. It is not drilled and tapped for scope bases from factory (drilled and tapped: False). The threaded 5/8″-24 muzzle allows installation of compatible muzzle devices or accessories. Typical setups include short-range hunting or brush rifles, range/training configurations, and applications where a compact lever-action carbine is desired.
