Magpul PMAG 5 AC — Rifle Magazine — The PMAG 5 AC is a 5-round magazine designed for short-action AICS-pattern bolt-action rifles. It holds and feeds cartridges based on a 0.470″ case head and accepts an overall cartridge length up to 2.86″.

The PMAG 5 AC provides a compact, serviceable magazine solution for short-action bolt rifles. It is intended for use in short-action AICS-style bottom metal and chassis systems where a compact 5-round capacity is required for compliance with local hunting regulations or compact magazine well designs.

Compatibility & Intended Use

Fits short-action AICS (Accuracy International Chassis System) pattern bottom metal and short-action AICS-style magazine wells. Compatible with cartridges listed for short-action AICS mags such as 7.62×51/.308 Winchester, 7mm-08 Remington, 6.5mm Creedmoor, .260 Remington, and .243 Winchester. Not compatible with smaller base-diameter cartridges such as .220 Swift, .223 Remington, or .300 AAC Blackout, nor with larger short-action magnums; minor fitting may be required with some aftermarket receivers, stocks, and chassis. Not compatible with Accuracy International AE rifles.

Typical setups include hunting rifles, precision or target short-action bolt rifles, and range use where a compact 5-round magazine is preferred for fit, regulation compliance, or handling.
