The Holosun HM3X 3x Magnifier is a non-electronic magnification optic designed to pair with red dot and other non-magnified sights, providing instant 3x magnification when needed. Mounted behind a primary optic, it allows shooters to transition quickly between unmagnified and magnified views using a flip-to-side, quick-detach Picatinny mount.

The HM3X is intended to extend the effective range of a red dot or reflex sight by improving target identification and aiming precision at longer distances. When flipped into position, it delivers a clear 3x sight picture; when not required, it stows to the side to preserve the speed and field of view of the primary optic. This configuration is commonly used on rifles for range shooting, training, patrol, or duty-style setups where flexibility between close and intermediate distances is important.

Optically, the HM3X uses quality glass lenses with a rated light transmittance of 0.75 and a user-adjustable diopter of ±3D to accommodate individual eyesight. Windage and elevation adjustments allow the magnifier to be precisely aligned with the primary optic for consistent point-of-aim correspondence. Approximately 2.75 inches of eye relief provides a comfortable viewing position without excessive head movement.

The magnifier is housed in an aluminum body with a black anodized finish and MAO surface treatment for durability. An ambidextrous flip-to-side mount allows left- or right-side deployment, and the included spacer supports both Absolute and Lower 1/3 co-witness heights.
